(Note the Solfatara can only be viewed from outside, because there has been a shameful delay in reopening the site.) On the way back to town, Antonio went out of his way to find a shop specializing in hard-to-find Neapolitan foods; my friend was very pleased, and he even helped her communicate with the store owners, who had about as much English as my friend had Italian.
