“A wonderful tour with a super knowledgeable, informative and engaging guide, Gennaro, who was very thorough in his descriptions of the exhibits. The museum was so big that there was no way we could have known where to start and what to see on our own especially considering the short time we had. Gennaro guided us through the highlights efficiently and made sure we saw some of the most interesting and important exhibits of the museum including the Farnese Bull and the Farnese Hercules plus the many interesting artifacts collected from Pompeii. We really enjoyed the tour.”

She directed our attention to various significant objects in the museum- items which had come from Egypt, the Etruscan region, etc - explaining in depth their construction and use, and offering enormous amounts of insight into the lives of ancient Romans in the process.
